macosx.com taken over by Apple after seven years?
My favourite Mac-centric online forum, macosx.com, seems to have been taken over by Apple. Well not the forum, but the domain name. You can still access the forum through its sister site nowonder.com. While I always wondered how it came that Apple didn't want the macosx.com domain, I didn't really expect them to make a move after such a long time.

Either way: If you're a macosx.com user and suddenly don't get to your forum, just use the nowonder.com domain for now and login with your macosx.com username and password. It's the same in green. ;)

Update: Well, it was some kind of joke played on the owner, apparently. It's been corrected by now. macosx.com is still macosx.com. :)
Comments:
naah someone was just playing a joke, Scott would never sell out

yup, it's been corrected, I see.
