BootCamp Beta 1.2 released, supports Vista
What a great way to tell those fake-rumourspreaders in the Far East that quite certainly, Leopard is not delayed because of Windows Vista support in BootCamp. Because BootCamp now has Windows Vista support. ;) ... Get your new drivers (with BootCamp 1.2) here at apple.com.
I've had Windows Vista Ultimate installed previously (worked just fine apart from some missing drivers), and I must say, this version of BootCamp suits me really well. The trackpad is finally supported better (two-finger right-click and scrolling works, although scrolling's a bit quirky). One mishap: The Startup Volume control panel has the icons for Windows and OS X reversed: So just choose the right partition by name right now, even if your Mac OS X volume has a Windows icon. ;)
Comments:
When will there be a version of BootCamps that includes drivers for the x64 Windows to run on Mac Pros while taking advantage of 64-Bit?

Who knows... I'm sure Apple's working on that as well.

Btw.: Have you _tried_ installing Windows Vista 64bit? It _might_ just install fine - with a couple of drivers missing.
