Single proc. G5 1.8 GHz Firmware Update available
Through Software Update. Can anyone confirm that this actually solves all the problems with those machines? Does it? Or doesn't it...
Comments:
Yes, I can confirm that all reported problems of the Single 1.8Ghz G5 (late 2004) were fixed by this firmware update, for both Panther and Tiger users. Also, it's not an usual Boot-ROM firmware update, it updates the SMU. This is most probably why it took so long.

Before: AppleSMU::PMU vers = 0x000d004c, SPU vers = 0x18, SDB vers = 0x01,

After: AppleSMU::PMU vers = 0x000d004f, SPU vers = 0x18, SDB vers = 0x01,

nice. :) although until recently i hadn't even heard of the problems, i'm glad that apple actually _could_ solve them, albeit later than expected.

The software industry is one of the world's fastest growing industries
with a net worth of hundreds of billions of dollars.

A lot of people have already made their personal fortunes from this
rapidly growing industry.

All this means that it's now the perfect time for you to start your
own software business.

You've just discovered the secret source for a complete range of
ready-made software tools, all of which can be private labeled with
your own details and then sold to generate a lucrative income.
